Had a slow leak in my tire and called this place at noon on a Friday. They got me in right away and I had my car back by 3 o’clock. The service was so friendly and they were very accommodating regarding my need to travel the next day. Reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning!

It’s so rare to be happy with the service done on a car in the Rockville area. Dealerships are at $300 an hour for tech’s I truly don’t believe they know what they’re doing. Sorry, I’m a bit skeptical about paying for service on a vehicle. I’ve gone to this location several times and after redoing the suspension on my car in the driveway. I realize there were a few components that I was not able to replace with the restrictions of working on my back in the driveway. The staff at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and more than considerate of my requests to review my work. They agreed that the part I was unable to replace in the driveway needed to be addressed. Since my office is walking distance, I went by at lunchtime and I could see they were having a bit of difficulty. Knowing what I had to attempt on my back, I can understand. They completed the work in a timely fashion, and when they presented me with the bill, it was more than fair. They definitely are a business that looks for repeat customers, and not trying to take advantage of clients like several dealers and repair shops in the area.

Needed to quickly get a tire patch as I had ran over a nail sometime last weekend. Realized my tire was losing PSI rapidly over a few hours despite using my air compressor to fill it up. Did a google search and found Bay Area shop here in Gaithersburg + the really excellent reviews / specifically pointing out folks like Rick. So, I hopped on over and was very happy to find that the reviews were legit / accurate / and I was provided excellent service in a very quick period of time on a Saturday (30 mins or less). I've been on the lookout for some good mechanics/auto shops near me, so I do plan to return!

Great service! I had previously gone to a competing tire company for service, but grew unhappy with their service and therefore decided to try out Bay Area Point S. When I called to make an appointment, Tim was very professional and helpful. I was able to visit first thing the following morning, and I was out in less than an hour with a repaired tire. The staff did not try to upsell me at all, and I definitely got the impression that this is a team of honest people just trying to do good work. The price I paid seemed very reasonable for the roughly one hour of labor spent tending to my vehicle. Overall, I was extremely pleased and I definitely plan to make this my new tire, wheel, and brake shop (and I would visit them for oil changes if my car had oil to change).

Had the TPMS issue on my Ford Focus RS taken care of, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The job was done perfectly, and everything is working exactly as it should. The staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the process and answer my questions. On top of that, everyone was very kind, courteous, and made me feel valued as a customer. It’s not always easy to find a shop that combines technical expertise with great customer service, but they definitely do. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and high-quality automotive service. I’ll definitely be returning for future work on my RS.
